CONTEST: Dark Concepts

_{Recently I've been spending more time exploring creating dark conceptual images, finding this a very exciting project.

For me, to successfully capture a dark concept in a single image is both challenging and liberating, allowing me to really push myself technically and creatively.

So I'm running this contest to challenge you all to create an image exploring a dark concept.

PRIZES:

Please note the contest is for photography only. [Please note this excludes photomanipulations].

1st Prize: A 3 Month DA Subscription, and your image featured in my journal.

2nd Prize: A 1 Month DA Subscription, and your image featured in my journal.

3rd Prize: Your image featured in my journal.

All entries will be listed in my journal for the duration of the competition, and will receive feedback.

RULES:

1. One photographic entry per person.

2. You must be the sole copyright holder of the image you submit.

3. Entries must be created after May 25th, 2008 Aust EST.

4. In the Artists Comments please state that your image is an entry in the Dark Concepts contest.

5. Entries close: Midnight June 25th, 2008 Aust EST and will be judged by myself and *Saxmancometh.

6. When posting your image to DA please mark all images containing nudity, implied nudity, etc as Mature Content. No ideologically sensitive images or those depicting excessive violence are admissible.

Photography is a very subjective thing, and the winning entry will be the one that stands out the most for us.

1. Send me a note with the subject line; ENTRY FOR DARK CONCEPTS. Please include a link to the entry.

2. Add me to your watch list, for regular updates.
